På 60-talet började Karl Olof Berling från Färnäs i Dalarna med ett mycket unikt projekt. Han var sedan tidigare ägare av mark och ett sågverk, och började för nöjes skull att bygga ett hus helt på egen hand. In the 60's Karl Olof Berling from Färnäs in Dalarna, Sweden started on a particularly interesting building project. He was already an owner of land and a sawmill since earlier, and started to build a beautiful house for fun just by himself. Throughout the years the area grew into an entire fairytale village of beautiful and enchanting cottages and wooden artworks.
